Salvation Received (Part 3)

I felt very sleepy when we arrived at the church. I’m not expecting that I will be sitting in front. It was an overwhelming feeling when they welcome me in their church in a warmth approach.
When the Pastor started to preach, I couldn’t believe myself that I absorbed the preaching in spite of being drowsy.
And their prayer had come. I was shocked and was shaken when I heard they were praying in other languages. They have their own different languages. I remembered what the guy had told me that when they pray, their spirit prays.
After the meeting, the Pastor invited me to talk with him with a guy beside him. He uttered some words of God again. Then, he asked, “Do you want to change your life?” “Do you want to receive the Holy Spirit as promised by Christ before He went to heaven?” It was great thing that had convicted my heart. I’d think of this actually several minutes. It was then that I replied him. “Try?” This word had a great impact to me because it was the way whether the words of that Pastor was true or not, or if God’s will or not.
Then we started our prayer. At first, I was so distracted by the way they pray and the voice that whispers “Stop, that’s not true!” I was shocked when I didn’t even utter those words. And I told myself that it was God’s will that I have to receive His spirit and let Him change my life.
I began to pray to God seriously and really focused to Him. I’d just saw myself in a dark place then, suddenly a light is shining in front of me and it became bigger and bigger until something is poured upon me. My body began to shake until it trembles and my tongue began stammering until it created a syllable, then a word, and so a complete sentence praising God for His grace and mercy. And my hand began to clap which I couldn’t control the most. I think that if I’d let it that way, my hands will be lifted up to worship God!
On that day, there’s already the beginning of a new life and until now, I am continue walking to my salvation.
For those who want to find the truth, what are you waiting for? You have search now if you don’t want to blame yourselves when Christ comes and you’ll just start to find Him.
God bless to all!

Salvation Received! (Part 2)

He asked me. "Can we talk about the word of God?" "Sure, why not?", I replied. Then he began talking everything with regards to our sin, on how Jesus have been crucified and His resurrection, the conversion of being a true Christian, and the second coming of Christ.
However, I doesn’t really absorb the words he uttered. But one thing from the words he spoke form the Bible delivered a conviction upon me and had aroused my curiosity. It was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the speaking in tongues or other languages which you’ve never learned. I did asked that question to that guy speaking to me. “You will received the Holy Spirit when you repent as stated in Acts 2:38 (“You must repent and be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost.”). another thing that is posted on my mind the scripture in John 3:5. It states that “Unless a man be born in water and in spirit, He cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
After that more than an hour conversation, I went to Camalig , Albay to get along with my friend. She had invited me in their Fiesta and so we had our jamming there. Actually, we had the most jamming in the videoke. I think I’ve just taken my rest an hour. I enjoyed very much in that event. But something was bothering me on that time. It was the guy and the words of God he had spoken.
After that very exciting event, I decided to go back to my boarding house and I’d just changed my shirt then directly go to the park where I met the guy. Then he was there waiting for me. While we were walking along the railroad, I asked myself, “Why did this happened? Why didn‘t I had my rest first and decided to go to the church the next time?” These were the questions entered inside my mind. In spite of my sleepy body, I did really decide to be with that guy and go to their church. There it was that I realized that some thing is mysterious n this guy. (to be continued...)

Salvation Received! (Part 1)

It was an ignorant day for me, Saturday at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
How ridiculous it was which I have just noticed to my one-month old cell phone that when it emptied its load, "check operator services" does not appearing in the LCD, instead, it was "message barred!".
You know what? I went to the Mall thinking that I don't have enough signals but it isn't. I had called to the customer care, and they said "try to take another place where you can find a stronger signal." There it was which I decided to go to the park near in front of the Catholic Church. I became curious when i saw a guy in formal attire. I've thought he was applying for a job. Meanwhile, he left the bench where he was sitting at. Then, funny happening followed. I got out from the bench where I am sitting at and transfer where the guy sat a while ago. While I was trying to catch up some signal (a signal?), the guy went back where he sat.
It wasn't the bench he was concerned about now but on me rather.
And so, it was the beginning of finding the reason why I've got something interested in him.
